Another year is upon us and with the ashes of GameCity7, the embers of GameCity8 are starting to glow. It will be a good few months before the phoenix will rise so in the meantime we have another years’ worth of GameCityNights to whet out appetites until then.

GameCityNights Nottingham was a blast! It was a real buzz being able to get out to a venue and showcase ReversE to a ton of fantastic developers and aspiring developers too 🙂 The game was met with really positive feedback, with some improvement points suggested for the UI, Possible theming and grouping of levels, an easier build up into the game, and possibly more visual hints. Altogether the reviews have been positive so far and the fun game play is definitely there! This gives me the inspiration to continue to polish ReversE even further in the next few months!

Indie Game Magazine has created a lets try video of ReversE. The video features the first few levels of the game and a mini-review of it in action!
It has just been confirmed GameCityNights Nottingham has given me the go ahead to come and showcase ReversE! The exhibition features talks from Maxis about SimCity, Cryteks Michael Barclay who will be talking about level design in CryEngine 3 and many other indie devs and designers bringing along fun games!

I am hoping 2013 will be one of the biggest years yet for me. My aim is to keep delivering new, fresh, unique and experimental concepts. This will be possible with two projects of my own currently under wraps but in the early stages of development. December 17th is my Birthday. Usually a time when people gift me presents for the achievement of gaining another level of old! However this year I have decided to give back! For the next 24 hours ReversE will be free to download for Windows, MacOSX and Linux! Birthdays are usually (supposedly) a day of happiness and joy! Today I have made available a version of ReversE for Linux. It works upto the same level Windows/Mac versions of the game work and is also available to download at the same time as the Windows and Mac version for 69p!
The game should work on all modern versions of Linux according to Unity technologies! When you finish purchasing the game you will be able to download the Mac/Windows and Linux versions of the game!

If you like the work I am producing and want to help me along a bit with my development and acquisition of licenses such as Unity Pro for android developing, then all donations would be gratefully received! ReversE development progress is coming on very well, I should be able to publish within the week to Desura, and I will be exploring a DRM free option which allows you to make a purchase through my personal website!
